I have not used remote guests when LS6 has been closed. I'm not sure if Guests are causing this shutdown problem. Although H.265 brings good quality and encoding standards for live streaming, it is still not compatible with many mobile and desktop browsers and playback devices. I would recommend using H.264 as it is a universal format (and using a bitrate according to the processing capacity and the internet). Some of our markets use GoToWebinar already, but the production doesn't have all the same bells and whistles as a Studio 6 production. We are at the point of trying to find an alternative to produce live virtual events. I would hope that wouldn't cause my side to force close, but I don't really know what else could be causing it? I sometimes wonder if the remote guest client has something to do with it - especially if I have a person on with unstable internet.

First time it happened, they told me to upgrade from version 6.4 to 6.5.2. Had IT look at the logs to see if any specific event on the MPB triggered it, but they couldn't find anything. When I click to reopen, it has to reboot completely.

It's like the software has been minimized, but this always happens during a "hands-off" moment when I'm not actively controlling the event.
We've unfortunately run into an issue where Studio 6 will randomly close mid-event.

We pivoted to MacBook Pro 16"s and the CPU stays around 30% for most events. In the beginning, the software was pretty reliable until the Dell Precision 540s we ran it on began to get too hot (CPU hovering near 100% with remote guests and multiple media files plugged into a project).
